A large shipping company carrying several million passengers per year wanted to diversify its services by going beyond transport. She commissioned 321 to explore new opportunities around the tourist experience of travelers.

Approach

A 2-month exploration phase revealed an under-exploited angle: travelers have easy access to transport and accommodation, but struggle to find authentic and personalized local activities. A project has been launched to meet this expectation.

Impact

A new platform called Livelocal was created: a site for booking local activities run by locals, with more than 300 experiences available in western France. This service enriches the experience of 4 million travelers, while promoting the territories crossed.
